Today, the Royal Guard of Oman concluded the cultural competition under the patronage of Major General Salem bin Ali Al Hosani, Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman.
The event, which was held in the command of the Royal Guard of Oman, began with recitation verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a visual presentation on the progress of the competition’s activities and its various fields.
After that, the final competition was held in the field of general questions, which brought together the teams of the Support Battalion and the Royal Aviation Security Unit, in which the Support Battalion team won. Followed by a poem presented to celebrate this occasion.
After that, the patron of the occasion and the attendees toured the accompanying exhibition, which included many creative works, artistic paintings, and several models and innovations.
Then, the Major General Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman, the patron of the event, gave a speech in which he praised the honourable level demonstrated by the competition, thanking everyone for all their contributions and the efforts which made it a success. He also congratulated those who achieved advanced positions, urging them to give more in the upcoming participations.
In conclusion, Major General Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman, the patron of the occasion, honoured the arbitrators and evaluators of the artistic participations, and handed over prizes to the winners of the first places in the various fields of the competition, where the results were as follows:
In the general questions competition : the Support Battalion team achieved first place, the Royal Aviation Security Unit team came in second place, and the 2nd Battalion team won third place.
At the individual levels of the competition:
Civilian Saud bin Saif Al-Busaidi achieved first place in the Holy Qur’an competition in memorizing (eighteen consecutive parts), while in memorizing (ten consecutive parts) Warrant Officer 2 Ahmed bin Saif Al-Hosani won first place, and he achieved first place in memorizing (Five consecutive parts) Corporal Malik bin Nasser Al-Ghamari.
In the essay competition, Staff Sergeant Qais bin Salem Al-Maamari came in first place, while in the scientific research competition, Sergeant Hamad bin Issa Al-Siyabi won first place, while first place in the fluent Poetry Competition was won by the civilian officer Sanad bin Saeed Al-Rashidi, and in the Nabati poetry competition, Lance Corporal Hamad bin Saeed Al-Saeedi came in first place, while in the short story competition, Staff Sergeant Issa bin Saeed Al-Kalbani came in first place, and civil officer Badr bin Saif Al-Nabhani came in first place in the short theatrical script competition.
In the fine art drawing competition, Corporal Ismail bin Marhoon Bani Araba, and in the fine art competition in the field of Arabic calligraphy, Sergeant Badr bin Hilal Al-Ghafri won first place.
In the photography competition, the agent in Bader bin, Bilal Al-Balushi, won first place, and in the graphic design competition Sergeant Jaber bin Abdullah Al-Ajmi came in first place, while in the competition for the best effective and purposeful visual clip, Warrant officer 2 Jassim bin Yaqoub Al-Sulaimi won first place, and in the installation Art competition, Corporal Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Kindi came in first place.
