The Firaq Football Championship for the year of 2024 was concluded Wednesday, under the patronage of Brigadier (Paratrooper) Mohammed bin Amer Al Kindi, Director General of Training and Inspection in the Command of the Royal Army of Oman.
The final match, which was held at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah, brought together the Eastern Sector team and the Administration Unit team, and the match ended with the victory of the Eastern Sector team, which won the championship title.
At the individual level of the tournament: Lance Corporal Khalid bin Muslim Kashoub won The Best Player Award, Warrant Officer 2 Saeed bin Ali Jaaboub won the Title Of Top Scorer in the tournament, and Sergeant Ali bin Muslim Al-Mashaikhi won the Best Goalkeeper Award in the tournament.
In conclusion, Brigadier (Paratrooper) Director General of Training and Inspection, the patron of the occasion, handed over cups and prizes to the teams and players who achieved advanced positions .
