The football tournament between the electrical and mechanical engineering units of the Royal Army of Oman concluded today, under the auspices of the Acting Head of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
The final match, which was held at the Sports Complex of the Royal Army of Oman in Al Murtafaa Camp, brought together the team of the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Workshop in the Sultan’s Armed Forces’ transports with the team of the Mobile Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Workshop, and the match ended with the victory of the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Workshop team in the Sultan’s Armed Forces’ transports. The match witnessed great competition and reflected a high level of technique skills enjoyed by the players of both teams.
On the individual level in the tournament: Lance Corporal Ammar bin Juma Al-Buraiki won the Best Player Award, Staff Sergeant Waleed bin Abdullah Al-Saadi won the Tournament’s Top Scorer Award, and Lance Corporal Nabil Hambashi Al-Mashaykhi won the Best Goalkeeper Award in the tournament.
In conclusion, the Acting Head of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, the patron of the occasion, handed over cups and prizes to the teams and players who achieved advanced positions in the tournament.
