The swimming competition between units of the 11th Infantry Brigade of the Royal Army of Oman for the year 2024 concluded under the patronage of Brigadier Abdul Kadhim bin Ibrahim Al-Ajmi, Commander of the 11th Infantry Brigade.
The patron of the event and the attendees watched the final qualifiers of the competition, which was held at Al-Saada Sports Complex in Dhofar Governorate. After that, the patron of the event honored the referees and those in charge of the tournament, and handed over cups and prizes to the winners, the results were as follows:
At the individual level: In the (50-meter freestyle) competition, Civilian Musa bin Muhammad Al-Sharqi achieved first place, and Staff Sergeant Sami bin Hamad Al-Mughizawi won second place.
In the (50-meter breaststroke) competition, Civilian Yousef bin Ibrahim Al-Farsi achieved first place, and Staff Sergeant Bilal bin Sanjoor Al Balushi came in second place.
In the (50 meter backstroke) competition, Warrant officer 2 Hamad bin Sulaiman Al Busaidi won first place, and Lance Corporal Mubarak bin Eid Al Abdul Salam came in second place.
and in the (50 meter butterfly swimming) competition, Civilian Musa bin Muhammad Al-Shuraiqi won first place, and Warrant Officer 2 Hamad bin Suleiman Al-Mughizawi won second place.
At the level of group competitions: The South Oman Battalion team achieved first place in the (4 x 50 meter medley relay swimming) competition, and the Border Force Battalion team came in second place, while in the (4 x 50 meter breaststroke swimming) competition, the Oman Reconnaissance Battalion team won first place. The South Oman Battalion team won second place.
As for the overall level of the tournament: the Oman Reconnaissance
Battalion achieved first place, and the South Oman Battalion came in second place.
