The football tournament between the SAF's transports of the Royal Army of Oman concluded today, under the patronage of Brigadier Mohammed bin Amer Al Kindi, Director General of Training and Inspection of the Royal Army of Oman.
The final match, which was held at the Royal Guard of Oman Sports Complex brought together the team (A) of the 1st Battalion, and a team of the HQ of SAF's transports and the SAF's transports School, which was ended with the victory of the team of the HQ of SAF's transports and the SAF's transports School, on penalties (2/4) after it ended in a draw (1/1) in the match’s regular time.
The team of the HQ of SAF's transports and the SAF's transports School won first place, and the 1st Battalion team (A) came in second place.
At the individual level in the tournament, Soldier Ahmed bin Ali Al Riyami won the Best Player Award, Staff Sergeant Wael Bin Masoud Al Salti won the Best Goalkeeper Award, while Sergeant Muhammad Bin Ali Al Badai won the tournament’s Top Scorer title.
