Admiral Bulant Bostanoglo – Commander of Turkish Naval Forces visit the Sultanate

In the frame of deepen ties and strengthen cooperation between the Sultanate and the Republic of Turkey

Admiral -Bulant Bostanoglo- Commander of Turkish Naval Forces visited the Sultanate during the period from 31st to 4th April 2014. The guest was received by Liwa Rukn Bahry – Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman and a number of RNO officers at Muscat International Airport.

During his visit, Admiral Bostanoglo payed a visit to Oman – HQRNO, on his arrival, he has been given salute of honor then, he inspected the front row of Guards of honor. On completion, he has been given an operational brief on RNO tasks and roles.

The visit included a number of interviewee with SG MOD, COSSAF, CRNO and A/CRAFO. During the interviews, views and matters exchanged and discussed in a number of areas of common concern.

The guest and his accompanying delegation visited Said Bin Sultan Naval Base and Sultan Qaboos Naval Academy. During the visit he observed a number of facilities, establishments and reviewed training programs in SQNA.

He, with the accompanying delegation, visited SAF museum at Bait Al Falaj Camp, he toured in the corridors of the museum and saw the historical manuscripts and models that tells the ancient history of Oman and have listened to full explanation for the development Sultan's Armed Forces under the prosperous era of his Majesty the Sultan, the supreme commander of Sultan's Armed Forces. The guest concluded his visit by signing in the visitor log, in which he expressed his pleasure for what he saw from the splendor of construction and civilized heritage of Oman.He also visited Bait Al Zubair museum and the Grand Mosque.

Liwa Rukn Bahry / CRNO hosted an official Dinner party for the guest with the presence of commanders of Armed Forces and senior officers. The guest departed on Friday 4th April 2014. He was seen off by CRNO and a number of RNO senior officers at Muscat International Airport.​
