Practical exercise for cadet officers ends

​MUSCAT — The Sultan Qaboos Military College (SQMC) of the Royal Army of Oman implemented yesterday a practical exercise with live ammunition for the cadet officers. The exercise took place at the military training fields of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) under the auspices of Lt Gen Said bin Ali al Hilali, Head of the Internal Security Service.
Upon the arrival of the Head of the Internal Security Service, chief guest in the training area he was received by Maj Gen Matar bin Salim al Balushi, RAO Commander.
He then listened to a briefing given by Brigadier Abdullah bin Ahmed al Kathiri, Commandant of SQMC in which he reviewed the college roles and the training plans it pursued, the different stages of the exercise and its objectives. The practical exercise was attended by commanders of SAF, a number of senior army and security service commanders and officers, the governor of the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah, local officials, invitees and RAO personnel. — ONA
